Salt ("we," "our," or "us") is a product of Winn Software Solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile CRM application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and business details.
Business Data You Enter: Customer records, job details, invoice data, and notes you create within the app are stored on our servers to provide the Service.
Payment Information: Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details. We receive only non-sensitive billing metadata (subscription status, plan type, last-four digits) from Stripe.
Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited and features used, to improve the product.
Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system may be collected automatically for security and diagnostic purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Salt:
- Supabase — Database, authentication, and backend infrastructure. Data is stored on Supabase-managed PostgreSQL servers. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management. See Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Google Maps Platform — Address autocomplete when entering customer addresses. Keystrokes may be sent to Google's servers. See Google Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft Azure — Static website hosting. See Microsoft Privacy Statement.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit, row-level security on all database tables, and JWT-based authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of non-essential communications
